Security work in Fountain Hills

Fountain Hills is built around the fountain and a bowl of hillside streets. Houses sit above or below the road, driveways are steep, and a camera mounted at the front door often cannot see the car until it is already at the garage. The useful lens is frequently halfway down the drive or at the street gate, aimed back up the slope. That is a harder pull than a flat subdivision, and we price the cable path during the visit instead of assuming an attic runs the length of the house.

View lots face west and south. Late-day sun blows out a cheap dome pointed at the horizon. We use housings and placements that look at the door, the stair, and the landing, not at the sky over the McDowell slopes. Block and rock retaining walls also break wireless signals between the house and a casita or a lower-level office. If those levels have their own entrance, they get their own door contact. A single motion on the upper floor does not cover a walk-out basement.

Commercial property in town is concentrated along Shea and the Avenue of the Fountains, not in an industrial park. Restaurants, galleries, and small offices need a door camera and a back office camera more than a yard full of poles. Gated communities such as Firerock add a private drive gate. An intercom there lets a resident see a guest before the gate moves, which is the request we hear more often than a request for more indoor cameras. Exterior equipment still has to survive full sun on a south-facing slope.
